Analysing New Town Development in Iran:

The new town movement is an integral part of post-World War II reconstruction that has gradually been adopted worldwide. As one the most significant fields urban development practitioners, towns generated both high enthusiasm and considerable criticism as consequences fell short ideals over time. Along with renewed interest in concept, particularly Asia Africa, a round research evaluated such initiatives. With increasing urbanisation diminishing quality life, many developing countries have introduced this policy for decongesting metropolises stimulating economic growth. Accordingly, recently attracted planners, developers politicians emerging economies appeared critical area studies. Through leading national policies to cope housing needs unplanned settlements Iran, first generation returned after revolution 1979. Since then, 17 developed, which face various challenges, strong dependency on lack required infrastructure facilities.
